In honour of tonights Wedding Industry Tweet Up, we are featuring the stylish Goldbrick House today. Goldbrick House sits near the top of park street in a site that is a conversion of two Georgian town houses and a Victorian factory. It is now an incredibly stylish "food and drink emporium" that is licenced to hold civil ceremonies.
You can tell that the building had different former uses by the way that it is a series of inter-connecting rooms rather than one large space, but this gives it a cosy charm and means that there are specific areas such as the champagne bar, cafe, library, restaurant, loft and terrace.
Getting married at Goldbrick House is surprisingly affordable, given how it has such a glamorous boutique feel as they don't charge venue hire, just a minimum spend that you could easily meet with a reasonably sized reception.
Goldbrick also provide delicious food, cocktails and canapes and having eaten there several times and sampled their canapes I can certainly vouch for the food.
The photos here have been taken from the blog of talented photographer Rosie Parsons. You can view more here. To find out more visit the Goldbrick website and look out for some pictures from the Tweet Up soon.
