Paper Sherbet Wedding Stationery

Today we have a guest post from Ilona, owner of Paper Sherbet to tell you all about her stationery business and a great offer this July.

Paper Sherbet is a local Bristol stationer which specialises in creating affordable custom made wedding stationery – every piece of work created is individual to you and never created for anyone else. We work with the most fabulous paper suppliers and printers in the industry both here and far to source the finest materials for each couple. A personal and one to one service means everything is always friendly and flexible and can be suited to you. All the work is handmade, so everything has a personal touch and nothing is mass produced.

We offer a range of stationery for weddings and civil partnerships including Save the Date cards and magnets, luxury pocketfold invitations, and a plethora of items for on the big day such as menus, escort cards for guests and unique wedding favours to name a few.

During the month of July all couples booking wedding stationery will recieve a complimentary guest-frame print, our unique alternative to a guest book! Our guest-frames are professionally digitally printed on the finest Tinoretti Italian paper. Each guest-frame gives each guest the opportunity to add their fingerprint to the print and can sign their name/message to create a truly unique keepsake.

Each print is customised with your names and wedding date, and your initials placed in the carved love heart on the tree! With each guest-frame you can choose two fingerprinting pads available in many vivid, pearlescent and popular colours to suit your wedding theme or your home.

If you are looking for invitations with pizzazz visit our website www.papersherbet.com to see some of our work and give us a call for a free consultation, you will find us in the studio on 01454 620280 or send an email to [email protected]

Personalised Stationery from Romantic Type

Local business Romantic Type has launched a new website which creates personalised wedding logo design for couples to use as part of their wedding or civil partnership celebrations. There are many ways that the personalised wedding logo design can be used to great effect from every stationery item to decorations for the venue, from embroidering clothing to the icing on the cake.

At Romantic Type, the designers will integrate the couples initials and first names into one of the stylish "Off the peg" wedding logo designs. Digital files will be provided that can then be used on any home made wedding stationery or sent to a printer/supplier. Alternatively, the “Bespoke” service allows a couple to create something even more unique – they can have a completely exclusive design produced to their own specification.

Trevor and Zoë James are the founders of Romantic Type. They say "We started Romantic Type in March 2012 because we realised people were becoming increasingly interested in having an individual look for their wedding celebrations. Many couples would like to have a hands-on role in producing their own stationery but need some guidance with the artistic and technical side. We believe that our online service offers something new to the UK wedding market."

Something Kinda Cute Stationery

I was at the Top Hats & Tea Cups Vintage Wedding Fair organised by Marry Me In Somerset and the Mansion House in sunny Clifton yesterday. I thought this week would be a great time to feature some of the fantastic suppliers who were exhibiting, as well as the stunning venue itself.

I was next to the lovely Shell from Something Kinda Cute and loved her pretty stand. I also had not heard about her business before as she is based in Swansea, so thought this would be a great place to begin telling Bristol Wedding News readers about the fair.

Shell began using her design background to produce quirky vintage inspired stationery after making stationery for her her own wedding and hasn't looked back since. Her range of stationery is gorgeous and would really suit someone looking for something stylish, different and fun.

You can order bespoke designs to match your theme or purchase the off the peg range online via the Something Kinda Cute website. Check out their pretty stand at the fair and check back this week for a full report on the fair and more supplier information.
